Leadership doesn’t come with a promotion or title. A leader is simply someone who influences outcomes and inspires others.
As leaders, it can often be difficult to truly understand the impact we have on others. We have a tendency to judge our impact and performance based on our intentions, while others judge us on our actual behavior. To lead people effectively you have to take intentional action. That requires an understanding of what it takes to build the credibility needed to influence and inspire.
