5.11 Tactical, the authentic and first tactical brand, creates superior products that enhance the safety, accuracy, speed and performance of law enforcement, military and firefighting professionals. They reached out to us to provide leadership training to their supervisors to ensure this critical employee population develops its leadership skills in a manner consistent with the company’s unique ethos and culture. This was the company’s premier effort in providing an enterprise-wide leadership program to ensure supervisors understand the behaviors commensurate with expressing leadership, developing trust, coaching and mentoring, and cultivating teamwork.
Lead Star designed The 5.11 Leadership Experience: Learn, Reflect, Apply, a 90-day program that introduces team members to fundamentals to help them develop their leadership skills in ways consistent with the company’s ethos and core competencies. The course consisted of three 1.5 day sessions of classroom instruction delivered over a 90-day period. In between live sessions, team members participated in learning activities designed to reinforce classroom guidance.
